CAB Activities and Involvement

Each year, one active CAB representative from each participating PHACS site is invited to attend the PHACS Fall CAB Retreat and PHACS Fall Network Meeting. During these meetings, CAB representatives give important feedback to PHACS researchers and learn more about the PHACS project.
In addition to attending the Network Meetings and monthly CAB conference calls, the CAB works together to create resources for CAB members and study parents/caregivers.
The CAB also provides input from the community on PHACS protocols and sub-studies. As new protocols and substudies emerge, CAB volunteers serve as CAB representatives on protocol teams to give feedback about study design and feasibility. CAB volunteers also review and give feedback on new research summaries.
