Frontier Science
Frontier Science is a not-for-profit data management and statistical center that collaborates with research networks, pharmaceutical companies and others in the design, conduct and execution of clinical trials and long-term observation studies.
Frontier Science has been involved with the PHACS study since its inception in 2006 as a sub-contractor to the Harvard School of Public Health. Frontier Science provides PHACS with data management and reporting, mobile and web applications, laboratory software for the management of PHACS specimens, and training for clinical sites and laboratories.

User Support
Frontier Science’s dedicated in-house User Support provides 24-hour, 7-days per week support for laboratories and clinical sites. User Support helps answer questions and troubleshoot using software developed or supported by Frontier Science.
Training
Frontier Science provides webinars, recorded training, and extensive documentation for its software and services. Frontier Science also provides project and protocol-specific procedure training to clinical sites and laboratories and helps projects implement training plans.
Software Engineering
Frontier Science’s Software Engineering Division develops bespoken software, custom solutions, and custom integrations for a variety of systems. Software developed and maintained by Frontier Science includes randomization systems, LDMS® (a laboratory information management system), custom-built web and mobile applications, data transfer processes, and custom data reports.
Quality Assurance
To ensure the quality of our work, independent, in-house QA monitors critical aspects of Frontier Science’s infrastructure and project implementation. Routine review of documentation and processes helps to ensure that all project requirements are being met and deficiencies are discovered and addressed in a timely manner.
Database Operations
Frontier Science is trusted by many projects to securely store massive amounts of data. Database Operations helps to ensure the continuity, integrity, and availability of project databases.
